Tap and Die is a 90’s action story full of characters like Jack who use wands and lava gloves and slugs instead of guns on the set of an epic fantasy world. Captain Tsæt got on the radio. “Enough of you, Jack or Wyatt or whoever you are. I’ve got wood splinters and glass shards all over my—”
“What the hell?” Jack snapped. “Put the real knight back on. You’re useless.”
“You’re the one who’s useless,” Captain Tsæt said. “You’ve destroyed ten floors of property.”
“Trying to keep them from exsanguinating a couple dozen knights! Now put the other man on!“
Captain Tsæt threw the compass to Ser Forty. “Your witness,” he muttered, and stormed off.
Ser Forty chuckled. “Hey there, Wyatt.”
“Just call me Jack, they know that much now.”
“Okay, Jack.”
“What’s your name?” Jack asked.
“Terence Thomas Tryban-Trevor.”
“Good Author, your parents were cruel.”
