Tap and Die is a 90’s action story full of characters like Jack who use wands and lava gloves and slugs instead of guns on the set of an epic fantasy world. I’m releasing it serially over the course of 6 months — the first 25% is FREE and the rest requires a subscription: if you subscribe for at least 3 months, I will send you a hard copy before the book releases even if you don’t finish the story.

Down in the stables, Fetch saw the man who’d cracked the water barrier getting a stable boy ready to drive away the largest carriage there. He watched as the man pulled off a sheet of fabric to reveal a very large medic and barber surgeon carriage. Something about the carriage, and the man’s behavior, made Fetch suspicious.

Then he shouted at the stableboy, saying, “He’s one of them! One of the reasons we’re stuck here! Stop the dog!”

The stableboys and drivers, bored out of their gourds, wanted any reason to use all that pent-up energy. They surrounded the medic carriage, and the safecracker tried to whip the horses and flee.

The wheels came off the wagon.

And the stableboys descended on him.

So he went over there and took the pins out of the carriage wheels, one by one.

Then he shouted at the stableboy, saying, “He’s one of them! One of the reasons we’re stuck here! Stop the dog!”

So he went over there and took the pins out of the carriage wheels, one by one.

Then he shouted at the stableboy, saying, “He’s one of them! One of the reasons we’re stuck here! Stop the dog!”

The stableboys and drivers, bored out of their gourds, wanted any reason to use all that pent-up energy. They surrounded the medic carriage, and the safecracker tried to whip the horses and flee.

The wheels came off the wagon.

And the stableboys descended on him.
