Hello! Tara here, I don’t speak up that often, but Lance encouraged me to make a miscellany of my internet links for Thursdays or Fridays. So here’s my Monti fresh attempt:
1) Monti Kids Sale
There’s a huge sale going on right now at Monti Kids, which many of you love. Go here. As per usual (except with two links in the resources page), we’re not getting kickbacks and this isn’t an ad — it’s subscribers, donors, books, merch that makes us money.
2) Montessori in real life Freebies
Continuing that theme, I found a freebie site for downloads and printables. Would highly recommend that.
3) Montessori home tour
There’s a lady who has toured her home recently and rendered it both functional and beautiful for her daughter:
4) Care Tasks Ted Talk
It was a GROUNDBREAKING revelation to me to realize that care tasks are morally neutral.
KC Davis writes over at struggle care.
5) T1D website – recipes, info
As many of you know due to our interview with the street artist, I have type one. Here’s a type one diabetes site for recipes, info, and more.
6) The Work Is Not Enough by Annie Helen Peterson:
Losing a day, an hour, an afternoon — if that was time used to put things in place to keep them rolling through the week, and that time is lost, then you find yourself in a 17-task pile-up. The laundry didn’t get done or put away, which means everyone’s down in the laundry room sorting through piles on the floor, which means there’s more laundry and/or no place to put the next loads of laundry — and pretty soon you’re in laundry apocalypse, and the only thing that’s going to save you is…the next weekend.
Go check out The Work is Not Enough.
7) MUSIC VIDEOOO
This one made both of us cry, thought I’d start with the lyric video first:
…which we loved for our anniversary.
And then check this new music video out which made us weep:
See you next time or in the comments — let me know what you find in them, good or bad.
