Awaiting Direction

It’s bloodcurdling to care
Wounds with the deepest scars
Given too much to people
Without one reciprocating bone in their body

Don’t let anxiety devour you
When all signs point to no
Craft a detour
The alternative route never traveled

You are the exception.

Worlds wish on a thousand stars
For one of you
So, grip tight and let go
Embrace exposure

Overwhelm others with tenderness
Leave them baffled
Pitch happiness
Catch feels

Because who knows?

Killing with kindness
Could save a life
Or turn a day right side up
Motivation to pay it forward

Raw affection
Unfiltered generosity
Wandering eyes are always upon us
Teach lessons of love and laughter

Be the change. See the outcome.
