Digging for Gold. Molly Silverman.

Digging for Gold

A lot of my life’s been spent

searching for

buried treasure.

What I could weigh and measure

digging for Gold.

A box of poems,

Hold some gold.

My brother’s rendition of Heart and soul.

Relationships, home.

Within my self – Digging for gold.

Clients, hard work, and wealth.

We’re all digging for Gold and something else.

Sometimes I’m just so lucky I do find buried treasure.

Other times I give up hip deep in dirt, I’ve had enough.  Weary from the search.

Frequently it’s too easy to forget what really matters.

Digging for Gold.

Looking for God.

Striking down and looking above.

Hoping for glory.

Dripping with sweat.

Digging deep enough without forgetting

what else really matters.

Digging deep for hidden treasure, striking gold.
