Timothy F Phillips stands as a self taught artist . He paints with loving brush strokes of beauty. Plants and trees are his favorite to paint. Timothy paints in beautiful detail. He was painting before he could read or write,, with great ambition he would cover the lines with colorful paintings of his surroundings in the mountains of Pennsylvania and other states that he traveled through or lived in. He has had many one man shows in museums and galleries around the world & the United States, his art is in many private collections of estates and corporations as well. Many commissioned art works have been done by this artist. He is presently living in Miami Florida for the last 20 years, And that is where he works in his studio on Miami Beach. If you look closely at his paintings there is always something to be discovered, a bird a snake or a frog, you never know so you have to look close, being the primitive artist that he is.
