Sukidayo

Your silver gaze captivates
me. One moment, a light
gray. The next a vibrant

cobalt, as potent as
your prodigious emotion.
Oh, I was going to kiss you.

Oh. Tentative lips meet,
only brushing the surface,
leaving want in the air.

付き合いたい。

My hands on the wheel,
my heart beating hard just
being next to you. Your deep

voice rings out. I’ve had
something on my mind. My
breath catches in my throat.

The road ahead a blur;
the prolonged silence.
I think I love you.

私のことが好きだと思うって?

The air leaves the room;
emptiness awaits me.
Seven long days, fasted

from your touch. The
only comfort comes
in knowing I will feel

you again. Powerful
remembrances surge.
My skin jolts in anticipation.

君はいない時、寂しいよ。

The question is stuck
in my throat. My nerves
flare. Is it too early?

Will you say no? What
should I do? Nervous,
I face you. And I ask.

You soothingly encircle
me. Kate, I would love
to live with you.

一緒に住みたい。

I run my hands through
your short hair: blond
waves of imperfection.

A mix of hot breath, as
entangled as our limbs.
Sizzling skin pressed

together tenderly. My fingers
graze the cannula resting
at the small of your back.

本当に大好きだよ。

Twelve whole months,
and I still can’t get over
how lucky I was to find

you. I still stare into your
silver gaze in amazement,
and watch the love that

fills your chest turn your
ashen eyes into the same
blue as the firmament above.

未来には結婚したいと思う。
