The fourth in our series of Christmas stories. I can’t apologize for the bad accents in some of these simply because that’s totally how I’d read it to my siblings and cousins.

    The accents aren’t horrendous. But it sounds as if (based on the grammar) it takes place in the North of England somewhere…….

      Good call. If time had allowed, I probably would have gone here:

      And listened to a North-England version of “Please call Aunt Stella” until the phonemes stuck. That’s normally what I do.

      Ah. Well thanks. It’s been awhile since I’ve tried to do an accent for an extended period of time. Other than the Langston one.
