One Christmas Eve by Langston Hughes

Here’s the second Christmas story from the JOPLIN-born Langston Hughes.

I’m reading these stories out of a collection of Christmas stories from 1945 and couldn’t find the copyright date on this one. If anyone finds out that this story is not in the public domain by now like the rest, then let me know.
