Father Peregrine’s musings
from that Martian midland
moved me.
How often I wallow
in mind
in word
in deed.
Helpless in my disgust.
Yet, when I call out,
He scoops me;
my mind
my word
my deed.
Alas! I was not made for
the fudge bowl.
